Acrylic on gessoboard - 6 x 18 in - 2013
My tomato obsession continued here; I was starting to think I might become known as “the tomato artist”! But they truly are fascinating. For example, this group of three showed the variation that occurs even in the same fruit, at the same ripeness, on the same vine.
I painted their different orientations, leaves, shadows, and sizes using acrylic paint on gesso board. I left the background white in order to let the fruit be the focus.
This original painting has been sold, but if you are interested in a high-quality fine art reproduction (giclée), please contact me using the Contact form or the email box above.
